Hello and Welcome!
As long as I've know, I've been fascinated about the human body, how it heals itself, both physically and mentally. Every day can bring a variety of different stressors in our lives. These stressors may cause physical and/or psychological restrictions or impairments which compromise our sense of well being or prevent us from fully participating in our daily lives.
Massage therapy can help alleviate these symptoms associated with stress, muscle tension and injuries, including headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and low back pain to name a few. Massage helped me through difficult and stressful times throughout my life and I realized I wanted to educate and empower others to do the same with their healing process.
My focus as a licensed massage therapist is to promote health and healing, using a variety of relaxation and injury treatment techniques. Sessions are tailored to you and your health concerns and hopefully empower you with tools to continue your healing process.
I am a proud graduate of the Brian Utting School of Massage and am certified in the State of Washington (MA00013934), and a member of the American Massage Therapist Association (AMTA).
I have been in private practice in the Ravenna/Green Lake area since 2000, offering:
- Deep Tissue
- Trigger Point
- CranioSacral Therapy
- Injury Treatment
I challenge myself, both physically and mentally and understand the demands of being and staying active. I enjoy running, yoga, and am always looking for a great hike! I spend the rest of my waking hours writing and pursing filmmaking projects.
My office is located at Ravenna Therapeutics in the University/Ravenna District at 5649 University Way, NE, Seattle, WA 98105. There is ample 2 hour parking. Look for the purple door!
