I have always been fascinated how therapeutic touch enables the human body to heal itself, both physical and mental. Massage helped me through difficult and stressful times throughout my life and realized I wanted to educate and empower others to do the same with their healing process.
In 1999, I decided to follow my lifelong curiosity and enrolled at the Brian Utting School of Massage (now part of Cortiva Institute-Seattle). I graduated in 2000, having completed a comprehensive 1000 hour professional licensing program which included 400 hours of clinical practice hours.
I enjoy challenging myself, both physically and mentally and understand the demands of being and staying active. I enjoy running, biking, swimming, hiking and am always looking for the next marathon or triathlon to complete!
I am certified in the State of Washington (MA00013934), a member of the American Massage Therapist Association (AMTA) and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). I have been in private practice in the Ravenna/Green Lake area since 2000, working with Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage, CranioSacral Therapy and Injury Treatment.
My office is located in the University/Ravenna District at 5649 University Way, NE, Seattle, WA 98105. There is ample 2 hour parking. Look for the purple door!
